About Us
Red Cedar Professional Inspections LLC is a residential and commercial property inspection service serving Clarksville, TN and the surrounding Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky area. We are a family owned company with roots right here in Middle Tennessee. Our owners, Blain and Kristi King, have called Tennessee home since 1995. In addition, Blain is a military veteran. He served twenty years on active duty in the United States Army, including seven years spent right here at Fort Campbell, before retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Blain is a professionally certified home inspector with an eye for detail and an impeccable work ethic. It seems as though nothing escapes his scrutiny when inspecting a property, and the smallest of flaws are addressed. He learned this skill from his late father, who always said, "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing RIGHT the first time!" Blain brings that same philosophy with him to every inspection.
Red Cedar Professional Inspections is truly a family owned and operated business. Caleb King is Blain and Kristi's son, and he too is a licensed home inspector. Caleb has been with the company since 2024, and he has already established himself as an extremely qualified home inspector. His keen eye for detail, similar to his father's, is always looking for defects hidden in the most obscure places. No one is more thorough at crawl space and attic inspections than Caleb.
Caleb loves helping people, which makes him a natural at home inspecting. Prior to coming to work for us, he was a Registered Emergency Medical Technician and worked for two ambulance companies, as well as being a member of the emergency medical team at Amazon. Caleb still holds his EMT license, but he now uses it exclusively in a volunteer capacity for the American Red Cross and various other volunteer emergency response organizations throughout Middle Tennessee.
Red Cedar Inspections was named in honor of Blain's father, Ed King, and his art studio, Red Cedar Galleries. Ed, or "Red" as his friends called him, was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was an avid outdoorsman and an accomplished wildlife artist and photographer. Red passed away in 2019, but his legacy and work ethic live on through Blain, Kristi, and Caleb at Red Cedar Professional Inspections.
