Spot The Danger

Not every tester is the same...

Many inspectors use a simple five dollar, three-light tester to check the outlets during a home inspection.  However, there are a number of situations where that is simply not good enough.

Red Cedar Inspections doesn't just use the cheap three-light tester when inspecting your home's electrical system.  We've invested hundreds of dollars into test equipment with your family's safety in mind.  Red Cedar Inspections uses the SureTest 61-164 circuit tester ($500.00) to test the safety of the outlets and the integrity of their grounding and polarity.  While it may sound crazy to spend $500.00 on a circuit tester when others use the $5 model, we believe you can't put a price on your family's safety.
